Man day!

Today was man day at the Hampton house. Leigh had to work, so Waymond and the boys headed out on an adventure. There was hiking in the woods, pretend fishing in the Puget Sound, climbing trees, playing basketball, building wooden cars, and even a little play gun shooting. All in all a very testosterone filled (and fun) day.

A little basketball

Good ol' Groupon! We got a great deal to see a TrailBlazer's game last night in Portland with some friends. It was a late night, but we had a great time. Sadly the boys had to stay home with a friend of ours. They played the Wii, so I don't think they were too sad!

We are hoping to see a Thunder game sometime when we are visiting Oklahoma!

The hardest puzzle

We bought a Star Wars puzzle on clearance at Target. Isayas was really excited about it, so the two of us put it together the other day. It was by far the hardest puzzle I've put together!

One way you look at it, the puzzle looks like this:

And, when you look at it the other direction, it looks like this:

Isayas was so patient and we finally got it together! Every piece we had to move around to make sure it fit with both pictures. So hard, but we had fun.

Merry Christmas!

We've had a great Christmas. Pretty relaxful!

Yesterday we did our one Christmas tradition and decorated gingerbread houses. I actually got them on clearance after Halloween, so they came with black & orange frosting and candy. We made white frosting and added red and green candies.

Our friend Carlos is staying with us at the moment, so he joined in!

The boys dressed up for the Christmas Eve service at our church last night!

They couldn't stand together too long without one of them going down!

Christmas morning. Lots of lego playing!

The boys really loved their lion pillows.

The boys got Waymond a new basketball. He was so excited!

More legos!

Some racing of cars.

And, then lunch with some friends.

Still in OK

The boys continue to have a great time while in Oklahoma. More presents, more new people and more food! We flight back to Tacoma tomorrow afternoon! Isayas can't wait to get back so that he can tell his Tacoma friends all about his new Oklahoma friends!

Isayas & the Harley

This is when Isayas got to see the Harley for the first time. I told Waymond's dad that we owe him a tank of gas because Isayas revved up the engine so many times I know he used up at least a half tank!

Oh the fun...

We've been in Oklahoma since Wednesday and we've all had a great time. Here's some highlights!

The boys had a great time on the airplane.

Waymond's dad has a Harley. Needless to say he has become the favorite! :o)

Christmas presents at Waymond's parent's house!!

The best food on the planet!

Again, the Harley!

Doesn't he look like this is his bike?

Proud Grandpa!

The boys got to ride around the neighborhood!

Playing with cousins.

There was a lot of running and wrestling!

Making candy necklaces. Thanks, Grandma Jani & Aunt Lauren!

Playing Wii. We all took turns dancing!

There of course was some light-saber action. The cousins have the best toys!

Leigh & our niece dancing with the Wii. Our niece beat me every time, she's good!

And, we have four days left!!
