Bubbles

Lillie is really into blowing bubbles. 

She has more saliva down the front of her that in her mouth sometimes.

Our little Lillie has quite the expressive face! Her eyebrows do all the talking for her.

Waymond loves this little gown; it's so cute on her! But, I love the face she is making.

Three months

It's official, Lillie is three months old today!

I tried to recreate a few pictures from when she was first born to see how she has grown.

14 years!

I can't believe it, but yesterday we celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary!

Since it was a weekday, Waymond took off work and we spent the entire day together. The boys were sad they still had to go to school!

We went to the Art Museum.

Waymond had ordered us a cake from a favorite Tacoma bakery. Carrot cake, yummo!!

Lillie was with us all day, but she ate and slept most of the time.

A little tea and cake to celebrate.

After dinner we all gathered in the living room and watched the Wizard of Oz and had cake. Well, the boys didn't have cake because apparently they think all cake should be chocolate and they didn't like the carrot. My feelings are not hurt! More for me!!

Big girl

I know this is a terrible picture (taken in the dark with my phone) but Lillie has started sleeping in her crib.

She simply ran out of room in the basinet in our room. When she would stretch, her arms would hit the top and her feet would press against the bottom; it was time.

And, we've gone back to the swaddle. It's working much better the second time around! She's been sleeping like a champ at night; not all the way through. She's been waking once to eat at night and at this point, I'll totally take it!!

When it's raining

Do to the fact that we live somewhere where it rains quite often, our boys have to get creative on inside play.

Isayas was digging through the toy bins and pulled out the animals they got for Christmas and said, "let's hunt the animals." Which, of course, Ermias thought was an amazing idea!

Out came the Nerf guns and they were off "big game" hunting; elephants, giraffes, lions and tigers. They all went down, repeatedly.

Brotherly love

Lillie and Ermias; so cute! 

The boys love their little sister so much. They ask to hold her all the time.

Lillie is fortunate to have such great big brothers.

12 weeks!

Can you believe it, this little girl is 12 weeks old today!

Ermias thought Lillie looks like a Ninja in her shirt today. He tried to teach her some moves, but she wasn't getting it!

It's been an interesting week; we've been trying to get her to sleep without being swaddled. It wouldn't be a big deal, but when she is swaddled she works so hard to get her arms out that she wakes herself up. So, we tried to decide...should she not sleep because of getting out of the swaddle or not sleep because she isn't swaddled.

She's working on her arm control all the time! She really wants to eat her fist; sometimes she makes it into her mouth and sometimes it gets her eye.

Homemade Puzzles

The boys drew and colored their own puzzles. Isayas drew Batman and Ermias colored each piece a different color.

They've put these puzzles together a ton since they did them. Maybe it's something to do with creating it themselves, although they do like puzzles.

It's great to have creative boys!

Easter

Isayas was still feeling crappy with his shingles so we stayed home from our church's Easter Egg Hunt. But, Waymond took Ermias who brought home candy to share with his brother.

New favorite thing

This is Lillie's newest favorite thing. She's been learning how to control her hands and bat at the rings on the caterpilliar. She also will lay and watch the music sun for the longest time.

Sometimes she is doubly entertained when one of her brothers lays beside her and talks or reads to her. She has a pretty good life!
