We got a few new pictures. Apparently our oldest has his mom's style... yeah, this fits and is warm! Our youngest is nicely dressed in jeans and a hoodie (blue in the picture). He's ready for the NW! :o)

New letters/pics
Woo Hoo we got a few new photos of the boys!! We sent cards again with another family so the boys got another set of talking cards from us. It's been hard since we haven't seen the boys since January 26th, but we've been able to send them cards twice now. And, I mailed off another set of cards last night! The boys should get them next week.

Update
No word yet on our Embassy date, but we did get our boys' birth certificates via email this last week! It makes me a bit more sane to get little things along the way!
We have found a home for all the good stuff we've gotten from our work shower; church shower and random gifts from family & friends! Thanks everyone! Just thought I'd share a few photos from different showers thrown for us! What amazing friends we have!

Saturday
It's Saturday! We started off our morning going to the University of Puget Sound's annual flee market. We thought we'd look for a bookshelf for the basement and a few other odds and ends for the boys. Last year we bought a kids baseball glove for $2 and it was practically new!
I bravely wore my OKC Thunder sweatshirt that Waymond got me for Christmas. While we were browsing in the book area a man said to me, "you can't wear that sweatshirt, you can't be a Thunder fan." I told him I was from Oklahoma and that I was just excited they now had an NBA team. He said something about tornadoes that I didn't hear and then we walked away. I think people are still bitter that the Sonics moved to Oklahoma! I was thinking we would get our boys' OKC Thunder shirts, but I might rethink that!! Time heals all wounds, right?
We didn't find a bookshelf at the flee market but we did buy a black picture frame for twenty-five cents! Then we went to Target to buy socks and underwear. Really more important than a bookshelf!
Hope everyone is enjoying the NCAA tourney! My ESPN bracket is doing well!!

Changes to adoption
As most of you know when we went to Ethiopia for our Court Date we found out that we had a missing piece of paper that wasn't sent until weeks after we returned home. Every Ethiopian adoption must have this letter from Ethiopian Ministry of Women, Children and Youth Affairs (MOWA) [which is what we had been waiting for] to "pass court." Us passing court happened weeks after we returned homed when our MOWA letter made it to the Ethiopian Courts. Many other families have had to wait as well and just recently MOWA announced that instead of 40 or 50 a day they will only do 5! Which only means that many many other families and children will be waiting longer for their adoptions to be completed. Please read an article about it here. Thankfully we shouldn't be delayed for our adoption any more than we already have, but there are so many other children waiting for their families that will now have to wait even longer! There is talk of a petition to be signed at the above link, but at this point I do not see one. I'll keep an eye out and post one if I see it.

Thanks to some other adoptive families we have a few more photos of our boys! So so cute! It's bitter sweet; so good to see them, so sad that they aren't home with us! Enjoy!

Still waiting
Well, we are still waiting to hear something about all our paperwork. But, in the meantime we sent some talking cards to our boys through another adoptive family going for their court date. Kindly they sent us back a report and some photos!! We sent them photos of their new bunk beds too. Can't wait to get them home!!

Designers' lives are so hard
I really hope this link works because after hearing stories from Waymond and work I laughed out loud at this. Click here! And even if you don't know a designer, it is funny!
