When it goes quiet

Lillie is only 15 months old and already I know she's up to no good when all goes quiet! I was getting a head start on dinner yesterday by getting the meatballs for spaghetti made before we had to pick up the boys from school and Lillie was happily playing with her toys in the kitchen. After a moment or two I realized that I didn't hear her talking or making any noise. I looked around and just saw part of her body next to the fridge. She was standing on the stool so she could reach something high on the fridge. She looked at me and smiled. Believe it or not, she only fell on her face once and that didn't stop her from getting up there again and again. Waymond said, "It won't be long before she realizes she can move that stool around the house to reach things."

Monster trucks

Ermias has been trying to teach Lillie how to control one of the Remote Controlled Monster Trucks. She loves him so!

Two Peas

Right now, Ermias is a bit of a favorite of Lillie's. She is learning all kinds of things from him.

He showed her some basketball moves during the NCAA tournament.

I have a feeling that they will be getting in trouble together in the not too distant future!

A little ride

Waymond took Friday off work so we could hang out. Lillie enjoyed her daddy being home all day, although she was confused as of why daddy was home all day but not her two bubbas. Waymond gave her several rides in the boys laundry basket.


When the boys got home from school she went over to the basket and was passionately talking and talking. Isayas finally said, "what are you trying to tell me." I looked over and realized she was at the basket and told the boys about her rides in the basket. They then gave her several rides! She is well taken care of that little girl!

The artist

Both our boys like to draw, which I hope they continue. Isayas wanted to look at tanks online the other day, then he drew this. It's his uncle Ryan in a tank. The boy has skills!!

 

Cutting teeth

Poor Lillie has been teething for several weeks. Her third and fourth bottom teeth broke through last week and I thought we were through for a bit, but her nose was still super runny. Come to find out the poor girl was also cutting her top two molars as well. They are half way through and I think the bottom molars are now breaking through.
Sadly she doesn't sleep fantastically while teething. This is her after only taking a 30 afternoon nap! It's been rough! Her first six teeth came one at a time and now her next six teeth are coming altogether. It's hard being 15 months old!

Yesterday we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary!

Lillie's favorite thing

While I am cooking dinner in the evenings Lillie likes to unload the cabinet. I try to remove anything with glass first. It keeps her busy!

I pulled out the camera to get a video of Lillie feeding herself some scrabbled eggs (she puts the egg on the fork with her hands and then puts the fork in her mouth). Instead I got Lillie the drummer! She's learned her skills from Ermias.
