It's hot here!

It's so hot here in Oklahoma, so we've been hanging out with cousins and swimming!

While in Gallup, NM

We stopped at the Cracker Barrel while passing through Gallup, NM. Here's Lillie & Ermais in the rocking chairs. Lillie would have loaded her's up in the van if she could! They had a pink one that she LOVED!

I was standing in line to pay for some chocolate and a toy (Ermias has saved money for this trip) and I saw Ben Linus from LOST (aka Michael Emerson). I had my hands full, so I didn't get a picture. I'm not sure anyone else in that restaurant recognized him! I caught his eye and gave him the "what's up" look.

 Isayas purchased sunglasses somewhere in New Mexico (I think, it could have been Utah).

 We didn't see a "Welcome to Oklahoma" sign, so Isayas took this one.

We all slept in today and have been unloading the van. At some point we need to wash the billion bugs off the front of the van!

Day 7

WE MADE IT!

I'll post pictures tomorrow, but we made it to Uncle Ryan's house in Oklahoma. What a trip! 

Day 6

Yesterday was Day #6! We left Flagstaff and are now in Tucumcari, NM. 

We stopped outside of Flagstaff to see the Meteor Crater.

Day 5

Day 5, we went to the Grand Canyon!

This is Ermias and Lillie yesterday watching Annie and having popcorn in the back of the van.

 We got up early so we could spend as much time at the Grand Canyon.

 Lillie has some really good bed head!

 One could spend days at the Grand Canyon, it was amazingly beautiful!

 Ermias climbed on everything he possibly could.

 Uncle Ryan got a few shots of us.

 Ermias then got the camera and there are about 10-15 shots of him and the Grand Canyon!

 Plus a few of the rest of us!

 Isayas forgot his hat in the van, so he wore Lillie's for awhile!

 Ermias was excited to see cactus.

Then the kids spent the late afternoon in the pool. I think they'd be happy to go from hotel pool to hotel pool without seeing anything else!

Lillie's favorite thing about the current hotel we are staying at, it has a "baby water fountain" as she calls it. It's just her size. She can walk right up, push the button and have a drink. She's in heaven!

4th day

We are on day four! We left Moab this morning and are currently in Flagstaff! Here's some shots from the road.

Lillie got moved to the back seat and Ermias got to sit right next to her! Both were pumped!

More to come! Grand Canyon on the schedule for tomorrow. 

Day 3

Day 3 we spent all day in Moab. The boys could have spent the whole day in the pool if they could.

 Beautiful! We spent the morning in Arches National Park.

 Here's our trip in a nutshell. We started in Tacoma, WA on the 15th and by 17th we were in Moab, UT!
